Tamil star Dhanush had been in the news for the last few days over the Nayanthara-Netflix issue and now, he has back to making headlines again, but this time at a personal level.
This is regarding the divorce case pertaining to Dhanush and his ex wife Aishwarya Rajinikanth. The ex couple has now officially ended their marriage as they were granted divorce by the Chennai Family Welfare Court.
The court, on Wednesday granted divorce to the couple after they made it clear that they had been living separately for the last few years and have no intention of getting back together.
After they first approached the court in 2022, the case been in the hearing phase for a couple of years due to absentees from both sides. Finally, a consolidated divorce case was filed earlier in 2024 and this was taken seriously.
The court has now granted divorce to them, and the ex couple have now officially ended their 18 year marriage which lasted from 2004 to 2022. They are exploring independent paths now.
