“AR Rahman Is Not a Friendly Person”

AR Rahman is one of the country’s star music composers. He worked with many celebrated singers and even introduced many to the music world. Recently, noted singer Abhijeet Bhattacharya criticized Rahman’s unorthodox working style. It brought huge attention to Rahman’s working style. Now, another singer, Sonu Nigam, shared his close observation of Rahman.

Sonu Nigam enjoys a good rapport with Rahman. The duo worked together for many songs. Sonu Nigam claims that Rahman is a professional with a no-nonsense attitude. Sonu also revealed that Rahman won’t allow anyone to come near him.

“Rahman does not like to develop relationships. He does not open up to anyone and does not want to know about anyone. Similarly, he does not want anyone to know about him. Maybe he opens up in front of his older friends, who have known him as Dileep,” said Sonu Nigam.

Sonu Nigam also claimed that AR Rahman is not a friendly person but is work-oriented and prefers to focus on it. Sonu also said that Rahman does not speak badly about others and will not hurt anybody’s heart.

“He is detached from all of this. He must be attached to his family but I haven’t seen him being very friendly with others,” Sonu Nigam said.
