The Telugu Film Chamber has taken a key decision today to celebrate the birthday of the Telugu film industry every year. On a special day, the chamber also decided to give away awards to deserving film personalities. The chamber will team up with the government to give these awards. Every year, on February 6th, the celebrations will kick off.
On this note, the chamber decided to design a special flag and it should be hoisted at the house of every film actor and at the theaters. The Film Chamber has entrusted the responsibility of designing the Telugu Cinema Birthday flag to Paruchuri Gopalakrishna.
Actor and former MP Murali Mohan said film people are far more respected than people in politics. He also added that the politicians will be remembered only during their tenure, but the film personalities will be remembered beyond that.
Senior actor Murali Mohan, writer Parichuri Gopalakrishna, Film Chamber President Bharat Bhushan, Secretary Prasanna Kumar, Directors Association President Veera Shankar, writer and journalist Rentala Jayadev and others attended the programme today.
