NTR Kickstarts Promotions For Japanese Devara

Jr NTR got good popularity among Japanese audiences with the super success of RRR in Japan. For the unversed, RRR is the highest-grossing Indian film in Japan, which broke the long-standing record of Superstar Rajinikanth’s Muthu. Banking on his popularity in the country, NTR is now releasing his recent film Devara Part: 1 in Japan.

Devara’s Japanese version will hit the screens on March 28, 2025. Ahead of the release, NTR will visit Japan on March 22. Meanwhile, NTR has already kickstarted promotions a month before the release and is currently giving interviews to the Japanese media. The actor is hoping to increase his stardom in Japan with Devara.

Directed by Koratala Siva, Devara features Janhvi Kapoor and Sai Ali Khan in other key roles. It was released on September 27, 2024, and became a big success at the box office. It has to be seen if the same success can be replicated in Japan as well.

On the film front, Jr NTR has three films in his lineup, War 2, NTRNeel and Devara 2. While War 2 will hit the screens later this year, NTRNeel’s shoot kickstarted a few days ago. After finishing this movie’s shoot, he is expected to start shooting for Devara 2.
