Also, it is very important for Venky Kudumula to prove himself as a director. Interestingly, Venky got a chance to direct Megastar Chiranjeevi right after he delivered a Blockbuster with Chalo. For some reasons, the project did not take off, leaving Venky in disappointment. The word of mouth in the film circles back then is that Venky is too early to handle Chiranjeevi and there were even doubts on his craft.
