Lucifer 3 : Another Actor to Replace Mohanlal as Main Lead?

The sequel to Lucifer, titled Empuraan 2, has stirred up more controversy after its release. The team had to get the film censored for the second time. Mohanlal, Prithviraj and the key stakeholders of the movie had to tender a public apology to the audiences whose sentiments were hurt. As the controversy is getting subsided, there are speculations on the film’s third part.

If the reports are believed to be true, Pranav Mohanlal, the younger son of Mohanlal will be a part of the third part. Very soon, Prithviraj is gearing up to start the third installment, titled L3. Unlike its predecessors, the focus of L3 will shift from Mohanlal to his son, Pranav Mohanlal.

The storyline is expected to be intense, tracing the journey of Abraham Qureshi alias Stephen Nedumpally alias Lucifer, as he arrives in Mumbai in 1982 and expands his mafia empire globally. A lead for the scene has been established towards the end of the second part already. The makers are reportedly taking extra care with the script to avoid controversy this time.
