Nani Takes Over the Box Office!

Hero Nani is steadily climbing higher with every film. After delivering three back-to-back hits, the buzz surrounding HIT 3 is massive. Judging by its release scale, it’s almost reaching the level of a big star’s film. The openings are expected to be huge as well.

With no other major films releasing this summer, HIT 3 is shaping up to be the biggest release of the season. After weeks of a box office slump, there’s now a lot of hope riding on HIT 3. Across the board, theaters are being flooded with this movie. A glance at online ticket booking platforms shows that the number of screens allocated for HIT 3 is staggering. Most theaters are prioritising it over older releases, especially since movies from the previous week are are not doing well at box office.

Although Retro, starring Suriya, is also releasing on May 1 alongside HIT 3, it’s getting a very limited screen count and carrying low buzz in telugu. Given all this, it’s clear that Nani is set to dominate the coming weekend. Unless Retro manages to get exceptionally strong word-of-mouth, it’s unlikely to gain more screens. Its openings are also expected to be modest. On the other hand, if HIT 3 receives a good talk, Nani could be looking at the biggest blockbuster of his career.
