Posters Impress, But Films Disappoint!

Vijay Anthony is a Tamil actor but the success of his film Bichhagadu in Telugu made him a bankable hero. Because Bichhagadu became a hit, the Telugu audiences always wait for his new films despite most of them ending up as flops in the recent times. In short, after Bichhagadu, he could not recreate the success with any other film. Meanwhile, he is coming up with a new film titled Maargan, for which the motion poster has come out now.

The team released the motion poster, showcasing the film’s genre that it is a crime thriller. It looks like a medico-crime thriller and the motion poster interesting adds more intrigue about the film. However, one constant complaint against Vijay Anthony is that he focuses more on these promotional materials like motion posters but fails to keep a check on how the film is shaping up.

Vijay Anthony was last seen in the film Hitler and it did not do well at the box office. He also did Bicchagadu 2, Romeo, and others and nothing has elevated his filmography. Vijay focuses more on the production values to ensure a quality output but the execution goes haywire all the time.

With the changing trends and the extensive consumption of the OTT platforms, if Vijay can not translate the hype and craze to the success, it will be a game over for the actor. At least with this latest film Maargan, let us hope that Vijay returns to success.
