‘Archana will win her 3rd National Award with Shashtipoorthi’

Featuring talented actors Rupeysh and Akanksha Singh, along with Rajendra Prasad and Archana in the lead roles, Shashtipoorthi is releasing in theatres on May 30.

As a part of the promotional campaign, a special interview was held and here are a few interesting tidbits from the same.

Veteran actress Archana, who is playing the role of hero’s mother in this film, stated hero Rupeysh became more like a real son to her.

She pointed out that Rupeysh worked extremely hard for this film and the kind of efforts that he put her to be commended.

Our director, Pavan Prabha added the name of his mother Prabha as his last name, and that speaks a lot about his character. He explained me my character in the film by saying I must look like a mother to my son, and like a wife to my husband. This helped me a lot.

Shashtipoorthi is a very special film for me as I have tried something out of the ordinary, and I’m confident that the audience will be impressed with it.

Hero Rupeysh who also produced the film stated that he is confident that Archana will win her third national award for her stellar performance in this film.

This film is essentially a strong, emotional drama revolving around the lives of the lead pair and also that of the hero’s parents.

It is directed by Pavan Prabha and produced by Rupeysh under Maa Aaie Productions banner. As mentioned above, this film is preparing for release on May 30.
