One of the mainstream party-level meetings pertaining to the Telugu Desam Party is happening in Kadapa in the form of the Mahanadu event. This is going to be one of the bigger political events in AP’s recent history, and grand arrangements are happening at full pace.
The latest news is that Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and Nara Lokesh will be arriving in Kadapa today. They are scheduled to arrive ahead of the big day tomorrow, which marks the start of the Mahanadu event.
The Mahanadu event will happen from May 27 to 29, and it is going to be a mega amalgamation of the TDP leadership and cadres. This is the first time in recent years that Mahanadu is being planned on such a huge scale, which has naturally added to the expectations.
The venue has been designed in such a way that there will be no issues even if it rains profusely or if there is extreme heat, given that air coolers have been installed across the venue.
It is estimated that not less than five lakh people are expected to attend the event over the course of the next three days, and strict security arrangements have been made to mitigate any untoward incidents.
A huge LED screen has reportedly been assembled at the venue to ensure that everyone gets to witness the live action on stage.
The stage is also going to be quite large, and it is expected to accommodate 450 people at once. Grand arrangements are being made to ensure that the arriving TDP cadres are in a comfortable environment.
