Telangana government under the leadership of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, is reviving the tradition of honoring excellence in cinema with the Telangana Gaddar Film Awards. This prestigious awards ceremony will take place on June 14 at the Hitex Exhibition Center in Hyderabad.
The awards will recognize outstanding films released in 2024, as well as commendable performances by actors and contributions by technicians. In addition, exceptional films that received censor certification between June 2014 and December 31, 2024, are also being considered for recognition. The list of winners has already been announced.
In preparation for this grand event, the Hitex venue is being lavishly decorated. The government of Telangana is making elaborate arrangements to ensure the awards ceremony is conducted with great grandeur and dignity.
There is widespread appreciation across the Telugu film industry for the government’s initiative. Film artists, technicians, and audiences have welcomed the move, expressing happiness and gratitude that talent is being recognized and celebrated once again through state-backed honors.
