Another Comedian Turns Director, Will It Work?

Rahul Ramakrishna is one of the talented comedians in Telugu film industry. Having made his debut with Sainma short film, he later went on to gain popularity with the Telugu film Arjun Reddy. Later, he did several other films including Jathi Ratnalu, Geetha Govindam and Bharat Ane Nenu. Now, he is testing his luck as a director.

Taking to X today, Rahul Ramakrishna announced his directoria debut. “My first directorial venture- adventure! If interested, please mail your acting portfolios/resumes/showreels to the email ID mentioned in the picture,” wrote Rahul.

The casting call is currently in progress and he has not updated the details of the genre, story and the production house.

With this, Rahul also joins the list of comedians of this generation turning directors. While Yeldandi Venu scored a hit with Balagam, Dhanraj failed with Ramam Raghavam. Now, we have to see if Rahul can score a grand hit with this upcoming movie.
