Can Pawan Kalyan Revive These Heroines’ Careers?

Pawan Kalyan is one of the star heroes of the Telugu film industry, but at the moment, his films are not attracting the craze like they did during his prime. After he shifted focus to politics, the attention he usually gave also came down drastically. Despite having three films at different stages now, there is an interesting observation around his movies. The heroines who are working with Pawan are either struggling for success or awaiting a comeback.

For instance, Pawan’s immediate release has Niddhi Agerwal playing the heroine. Niddhi made her debut almost a decade ago in Telugu. However, it is with iSmart Shankar that she found success. But her initial set of films, including Savyasachi, Mr Majnu, and others, did not bring her success. She has been relentlessly trying to make an impressive mark and got lucky by grabbing this film with Pawan and another one, Raja Saab, with Prabhas. If HHVM becomes a hit and her role gets recognition, that will serve as a big boost to her career. She is relying now on Pawan’s star power for jumping up the game in the glamour field.

And then, Pawan’s next release is OG. Priyanka Arul Mohan who tasted moderate hits so far in Telugu with Nani’s Gangleader and Saripodha Sanivaram. For the first time, she is acting with the A-list stars in Telugu. As of now, there is no clarity on the role that she is playing in the movie. But, one thing is pretty clear that it will be stylish and also substantial. If the film works in her favour, Priyanka will surely be flooded with more chances from star heroes and filmmakers in Telugu.

As HHVM releases on July 24th, OG is gearing up for a grand release om September 25.

On the other hand, there is another film titled Ustaad Bhagat Singh, directed by Harish Shankar, marking his reunion with Pawan after their blockbuster outing Gabbar Singh. The film is currently under production. Sreeleela came on board when she was riding high with back-to-back hits. Cut to the present, she is currently struggling to find successs and multiple wrong moves in her career have gone wrong.

Ustaad’s success is her key to survival in the top league of heroines. She is confident that this would not turn like Guntur Kaaram. Now, the interesting addition to the film is Raashi Khanna. She has acted with stars earlier but of late, she is not in the focus. Apart from Telusu Kada, she do not have a big project in hand. With Ustaad, she is hoping to garner the limelight once again and if it clicks, then Raashi will be back on demand.
