Temper, Aravinda Sametha, RRR and Now War 2

Jr NTR is known for pushing physical limits for his roles, and his upcoming Bollywood debut seems to be no different. The actor, who started his career with a noticeably chubby frame, has undergone several body transformations over the years, each one sharper and more defined than the last.

From the leaner look in Yamadonga to the bare-bodied six-pack surprise in Temper, and again in Aravinda Sametha and RRR, NTR has shown a consistent commitment to reshaping himself for the character’s demands. Unlike many Tollywood actors, his transformations weren’t just for looks, they’ve marked key shifts in his roles and screen presence.

Now, as he preps for his first Hindi film War 2, expectations are naturally high. The action drama, headlined by Hrithik Roshan as Kabir, will see NTR step into the role of Vikram, a rival character set to go head-to-head with Hrithik’s. While the production team is keeping much of the character and storyline under wraps, sources indicate that Jr NTR will once again appear in a fully sculpted, shirtless avatar, complete with visible six-pack abs.

The film is scheduled to hit theatres on August 14, and promotional activity is already underway. NTR has reportedly taken part in a few high-profile promotional shoots, clips of which will be released soon. However, in an interesting move, both leads, Hrithik and NTR, will not be appearing together for promotions. The makers believe keeping them apart off-screen will help maintain the intensity of their on-screen rivalry.

War 2 stands as a significant step in NTR’s career, not only as his entry into Hindi cinema, but as part of his ongoing journey of physical and artistic reinvention. He’s also prepping for a dramatic makeover in his upcoming film with Prashanth Neel, tentatively titled Dragon, proving he’s not done raising the bar yet.
