Pawan Kalyan’s much-anticipated film Hari Hara Veera Mallu has finally hit the screens today. The film showcases Pawan Kalyan in the role of a warrior in the Mughal era who fights against Mughal emperor Aurangzeb. The movie also exposes the evil “Jizya Tax”, which was imposed by Aurangzeb on Hindus to practice their faith, the injustice done to Hindus under his rule and how Mughals looted India’s wealth.
Taking to social media today, Pawan Kalyan shared the core intention of Hari Hara Veera Mallu and how it celebrates the Sanatana Dharma. “The Jizya tax, a punitive levy imposed by Mughal emperor Aurangzeb on Hindus for practising their faith, stands as a stark symbol of oppression, yet historians have long softened its brutality. #HariHaraVeeraMallu boldly unmasks this injustice, exposing the erasure of Hindu suffering and the looting of India’s wealth, like the Kohinoor’s theft. With unwavering resolve, this saga celebrates Sanatana Dharma and the courage of our unsung heroes who defied tyranny,” he tweeted.
Hari Hara Veera Mallu witnessed massive openings across the Telugu states last night with premieres. The collections are expected to continue to be stronger today as well. Directed by Jyothi Krisna and Krish Jagarlamudi, this movie features Bobby Deol as Aurangazeb. Nidhhi Agerwal played the female lead in it.
