Avatar 3 Trailer: Promises A Big Screen Spectacle

One of the highest-grossing movie franchises in the world, Avatar, is returning with its third part, titled “Avatar: Fire and Ash”. Directed by maverick filmmaker James Cameron, Avatar 3 is slated for worldwide release on December 19. The makers have today unveiled the trailer on YouTube, after the leaked version from the theatrical premieres went viral across the internet.

The trailer reintroduces us to the world of Pandora and two new tribes, Wind Traders and Ash People. Jake Sully, his wife Neytiri (Zoe Saldana) and his Na’vi family are fighting with the Ash People clan. Colonel Miles Quaritch (Stephen Lang) also returns in this film, and he seems to be partnering with the Ash People in this instalment. Varang (Oona Chaplin), the leader of the Ash Clan, is introduced as the new villain.

As expected, the visuals look breathtaking and make us want to watch the film only in theatres. The world of Pandora is meant to be watched on the big screen, and Avatar 3 once again proves the same.

But when it was announced that the title of Avatar 3 is Fire and Ash, everyone expected it to have fire elements and sequences in this movie, like how the second part, Way of Water, had many water sequences.

However, there is no such thing in this film, as far as the trailer is concerned, and moreover, it reminds us of the second part in most places. But we never know what James Cameron has in store for us, and we have to witness it only on the big screen.

Avatar remains the highest-grossing film of all time in the world, and Avatar 2 stands in the third position on the list. It remains to be seen how well Avatar 3 performs when it hits the screens this year-end.
