Theatres across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana are buzzing with energy, even with heavy rains outside. After months of dull footfalls, audiences are turning up in huge numbers, bringing a festive mood to cinema halls.
Early morning shows are back in style, with War 2 starting as early as 4 AM and Coolie kicking off at 5 AM. Both films are competing closely, trending high online and drawing long queues at ticket counters.
Meanwhile, Mahavatar Narasimha is still pulling crowds despite losing many screens to the new releases. Distributors are watching closely and are ready to swap it into more theatres if War 2 or Coolie slows down.
With three holidays still ahead, maintaining strong attendance will be the big test for Jr NTR and Rajinikanth’s films. No major releases are lined up until August 27, giving the current blockbusters a rare opportunity to dominate.
Ravi Teja’s mass entertainer is set to step up promotions soon, while early September will bring new releases like Mirai, Ghaati, and Madarasi. If War 2 and Coolie can keep up their momentum for the next few days, they could enjoy a long, solid run at the box office.
