All eyes won’t just be on the archers during the Archery Premier League 2025 (APL), they’ll also be on global superstar Ram Charan, the newly announced Brand Ambassador of the league.
Riding the wave of RRR’s international success, Ram Charan has become more than a cinema icon — he is now a cultural bridge between India and the world. His association with the APL ensures that archery, often seen as niche, will now find new resonance with fans across continents.
The league itself is pioneering: six franchises, 36 of India’s finest archers, and 12 global champions competing in a never-before-seen mixed format of recurve and compound events under lights. But it’s Charan’s presence that transforms the APL into something bigger — a prime-time sporting and cultural event.
“Archery is about grit and determination — the same values that drive both athletes and artists,” said Ram Charan. “With the APL, I want to see Indian sport inspire the world just as Indian cinema did with RRR.”
By merging the stardom of Ram Charan with the precision of archery, the APL is set to debut not only as a tournament but as a global sporting phenomenon with Indian pride at its core.
