They Call Him OG was originally planned to have special benefit shows on September 25. The makers had applied for late-night 1 AM shows with higher ticket prices, along with temporary price hikes for regular shows during the first ten days after release.
A problem came up in Telangana, where 1 AM shows were not permitted, though 9 PM early premieres were allowed on September 24. The makers then submitted a request to the Andhra Pradesh government for revised permission to hold 10 PM shows on the same day.
The Andhra Pradesh government has now issued a revised GO, allowing 10 PM premieres on September 24 instead of the 1 AM shows on September 25. The ticket price for these benefit shows remains unchanged at ₹1,000, including GST.
This change ensures that fans in both Andhra Pradesh and Telangana can watch the film at the same time. With the premiere now set earlier, They Call Him OG is expected to have a strong start at the box office.
They Call Him OG stars Pawan Kalyan, Emraan Hashmi, Priyanka Arul Mohan, Arjun Das, Sriya Reddy, and Prakash Raj. Written and directed by Sujeeth, with music composed by Thaman S, the movie is produced by DVV Danayya and Kalyan Dasari under DVV Entertainments.
