SSMB29: No Update, But a Candid Pic on Jakkanna’s Birthday

Maverick director SS Rajamouli celebrates his 52nd birthday today. On the occasion, fans and other audiences expected an update regarding Rajamouli’s upcoming film with Superstar Mahesh Babu, tentatively called SSMB 29.

But unfortunately, there hasn’t been any update about the movie yet. However, Mahesh Babu shared an unseen candid picture of Rajamouli and himself, and conveyed his best wishes to the director.

“Wishing the one and only @ssrajamouli a very Happy Birthday…The best is always yet to come😍😍😍..Have a great one sir 🤗🤗🤗♥️♥️♥️,” Mahesh captioned the picture. Both of them are seen with wide smiling faces in this picture, making it so adorable.

Mahesh looks dashing, sporting long hair covered with a cap and a thick beard. On the other side, Rajamouli is seen in his trademark long salt and pepper bearded look. The picture went viral on social media in no time.

According to the rumours, the title of this untitled project will be unveiled on November 16 in a grand event. Reportedly, the makers are considering naming the film “Varanasi”.

SSMB 29 features Priyanka Chopra and Prithviraj Sukumaran in other main roles. KL Narayana is bankrolling the project. PS Vinod is handling the cinematography, and MM Keeravani is composing the music for the film. It is expected to hit the screens in 2027.
