Historic: Babu Completes 15 Years as CM!

The longest-serving Chief Minister in the history of united Andhra Pradesh, Chandrababu Naidu, has completed 15 iconic years holding the CM position. Chandrababu reached this milestone today, marking a significant moment in history.

Back in 1995, Chandrababu first took charge as the Chief Minister of united Andhra Pradesh after an internal coup in the TDP. Ever since, there has been no looking back as he was elected as CM three times, with the latest being in 2024.

In South India, only Karunanidhi and Ranga Swamy hold the record of serving as Chief Minister for more than 15 years. Chandrababu is the latest addition to this list, and he made an iconic appearance today, coincidentally marking the occasion.

At a time when certain politicians rise to power using slogans like “Give Me One Chance,” Chandrababu continues to create history by getting elected again and again. At this point, he is seen as the guardian of Andhra Pradesh, returning to power every other term.

Chandrababu is also the longest-serving Chief Minister in the history of divided Andhra Pradesh. Of the three elections held since bifurcation, Chandrababu has won twice.

His incredible administrative skills and political expertise have consistently worked in his favor, as he is now on a long journey to set things right in Andhra Pradesh.

At a time when even serving as an MLA for 15 years is a challenge, Babu is scripting history by serving as Chief Minister for that long. By the time he completes this tenure, he will have served 19 years in the CM’s office, a record in itself.
