SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus, the Baahubali franchise, is set to re-release in theatres once again as a single part, titled “Baahubali: The Epic”. Even though it’s a re-release, there is a huge anticipation around it, and the film is expected to break all existing re-release records in theatres.
Baahubali: The Epic opened on a huge note in the United States as soon as the advance bookings opened. According to the reports, 3001 tickets have been sold within hours, collecting a gross of more than $60,603. The advance bookings opened in 107 locations with 107 shows.
As there are 14 days left for premieres, these numbers are expected to rise further in the coming days. Trade analysts are expecting it to set new records among re-releases once it hits the theatres.
Meanwhile, US audiences requested that the makers enable passes, which can further boost ticket sales. Obliging to their request, makers announced that all passes have been opened and enabled. Thus, the advance sales are expected to spike further from now on.
Fans are confident that Baahubali is expected to set a huge record among re-releases, just like the way it did among new releases. Baahubali: The Epic is set to hit the screens on October 31, and the premieres will be held on October 29 in the United States.
