It is an open secret that Tollywood stars Vijay Devarakonda and Rashmika Mandanna have been involved in a serious courtship from the time they acted together in Geetha Govindam. Despite trying to maintain utmost privacy of their relationship, the duo could not escape media glare whenever they went on vacations and hangout parties. Moreover, recent reports suggest that the pair got engaged in an intimate affair on October 3rd. 

Even though the news about their engagement made headlines and caught the attention of the media and the public, both Vijay and Rashmika are still not openly affirming their relationship status. While Vijay silently started shooting for his upcoming projects, Rashmika also got busy promoting her forthcoming movies after this significant chapter in their love story. 

During the trailer launch event of Rashmika’s The Girl Friend, one of her fans tried to evoke a positive response on the engagement news and asked her confirm it. However, the Pushpa actress smartly gave an indirect answer and stated that she will reveal about the big news at an appropriate time. This response has slightly disappointed her fans who were expecting her to break silence and make an official announcement about the news. 

Many are surprised on why the pair is trying to hide an open secret as everyone already know that they are going to enter into a wedlock very soon. It understandable that they wanted to keep their relationship incognito until engagement. Now that when the matter is no longer a secret, there is no point in still trying to hide it.
