Lokesh To Work With Bollywood Beauty, Not As A Director!

Actress Wamiqa Gabbi is among the fewest of Bollywood divas with familiarity beyond Hindi audience because she acted in different languages like Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Punjabi. She exudes oozing glamour and her sensual pictures often go viral on social media platforms. This is why she is equally popular in South India despite not featuring in big-ticket films. 

Of late, she has been striking a good balance between Bollywood and regional films. She will be next seen in Adivi Sesh’s spy thriller G2. Besides G2, she has a handful of Tamil films lined up in the coming days. Moreover, she is a part of a few upcoming movies in Hindi and Punjabi which makes her one of the busiest actresses at present. 

Meanwhile, reports suggest that the Baby John actress has been signed up to play the female lead opposite director Lokesh Kanagaraj’s debut film as actor. Director Arun Matheswaran has finalized Wamiqa Gabbi after screening several heroines for this intense action drama which went on floors last week. Earlier, it was believed that Coolie sensation Rachitha Ram will pair up with Lokesh Kanagaraj. But, the fresh update reveals that the team locked Wamiqa as heroine. 

Adivi Sesh’s G2 has already been making positive waves in Tollywood. With Lokesh Kanagaraj’s film, Wamiqa would be looking to consolidate her image in South with meaty performances. If she manages to impress with her performances in these films, it will be a big boost for her career as she is already quite popular down South and a couple of decent hits will only provide more impetus. 

Wamiqa has got close to eight films in her kitty. With Lokesh Kanagaraj’s project, she will get busier and will need to juggle different cities to shoot for all these projects.
