Rashmika Shares Her Desire to Work with Prabhas

Actor Rashmika Mandanna, who is awaiting the release of The Girlfriend, has expressed her wish to work with Telugu star Prabhas. The film marks her first female oreintied film.

During a recent “Ask Me Anything” session on X, a fan asked if she could act with Prabhas, calling him “India’s Biggest Superstar.” The fan joked that they would “die in the theatre” if that ever happened.

Replying to the post, Rashmika said, “I love it! I hope Prabhas sir sees this message, and I hope we really do work together on something special soon.” Her comment drew attention on social media and sparked new discussions among fans.

Earlier reports suggested that Rashmika was in talks for Spirit, director Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s upcoming film with Prabhas. The role, however, first went to Deepika Padukone, who later left the project. Tripti Dimri was later finalised as the female lead. Both Rashmika and Tripti previously appeared in Vanga’s 2023 film Animal with Ranbir Kapoor.

Rashmika has had a busy year with multiple releases, including Chhaava, Sikander, Kuberaa and Thamma.
Her upcoming release, The Girlfriend, will hit theatres on November 7. The film is said to focus on a strong emotional story led by Rashmika.

She is currently shooting for Cocktail 2 and has Mysaa in progress. Rashmika will also be seen in the upcoming sequels Pushpa: The Rampage and Animal Park. With several projects lined up and her growing popularity across industries, Rashmika remains one of the most active and sought-after actors in Indian cinema today.
