Actress Rashmika Mandanna, who recently made headlines for her “9-to-4 work hours in the film industry” remarks, has once again become the centre of discussion, this time for her comments about menstrual periods. In a recent interview, Rashmika opined that men should experience periods at least once to understand the pain women go through every month.
Rashmika was the guest for the latest episode of Jagapathi Babu’s chat show, “Jayammu Nishchayammu Ra”. In the promo of the upcoming episode, Jagapathi Babu asks if she wishes men could also get periods. Rashmika responds, “Yes, sir. Men should at least get periods once so they know that pain.”
Her statement has since gone viral, sparking divided opinions and debates on social media. While some netizens supported her viewpoint, others criticised it, leading to heated debates online. Ahead of the release of her film “The Girlfriend”, Rashmika is now trending on socila media for this topic.
