GlobeTrotter: Prithviraj’s First Look As Mighty KUMBHA

The makers of Globetrotter have unveiled the first look of Prithviraj Sukumaran as Kumbha, and it’s already turning heads.

In the poster, Prithviraj is seen seated in a futuristic wheelchair-like setup with robotic arms extending from behind, giving the character a strong mechanical and commanding look. His posture is upright and firm, shoulders squared, with both hands on the armrests, a stance that reflects control and power. His intense expression adds to the intimidating presence, hinting at a cold, calculating antagonist.

The stillness of his posture, set against the backdrop of dust and chaos with soldiers running behind, makes Kumbha look even more menacing, a man who doesn’t need to move to dominate. The robotic arms appear as extensions of his will, emphasizing authority and precision.

Director SS Rajamouli shared his admiration for the actor, saying, “After canning the first shot with Prithvi, I told him he’s one of the finest actors I’ve ever known. Bringing life to this ruthless and powerful antagonist Kumbha was creatively very satisfying. Thank you, Prithvi, for slipping into his chair… literally.”

Mahesh Babu, who plays the lead, added, “Stood on the other side… time to meet you head-on, Kumbha.”

Prithviraj wrote, “Presenting Kumbha, the most complex mind I’ve ever played. Ready for you, Mahesh. It’s game on, Priyanka Chopra. Thank you, Rajamouli sir, for crafting a world that constantly tests my limits.”

Meanwhile, this is not the first reveal of Globetrotter. The grand reveal event is planned for November 15 at Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad. Buzz is that it will be the biggest film event ever held in India, with the official title announcement and first visual glimpse expected to be unveiled there.

With Rajamouli at the helm, Mahesh Babu and Priyanka Chopra leading the cast, and Prithviraj stepping in as Kumbha, Globetrotter is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated films of the decade.
