The first single, The Thaandavam, from Nandamuri Balakrishna and Boyapati Sreenu’s Akhanda 2 was launched today at PVR, Juhu, Mumbai.
Director Boyapati Sreenu stated that Akhanda 2 is a film that can be enjoyed by the entire family. “Akhanda 2 is not just a film; it represents the Atma and Paramatma of the nation. This is my fourth film with Balakrishna. We shot some sequences in extremely cold conditions at –12°C. We truly believe we had the blessings of Lord Shiva while making this movie.”
Balakrishna reminded everyone that he has completed 50 years as an actor. “My success streak began with Akhanda. After that, my films Veera Simha Reddy, Bhagavanth Kesari, and Daaku Maharaj turned out to be blockbusters. Now I’m coming with Akhanda 2. You will witness the greatness of Haindava Sanatana Dharma in this film.”
Balakrishna also shared that the team completed filming in just 130 days.
