Shambhala Locks OTT and Satellite Deals Before Release

Aadi Saikumar is working with director Ugandhar Muni on a new supernatural thriller titled Shambhala. The film is not coming during the Dasara rush. The makers have planned a Christmas release on 25 December 2025 to target a clear holiday window.

Even before the release, the team has already closed some major business deals. These early rights sales have given the project a strong financial base. According to industry buzz, Aha has bought the OTT rights. Reports also suggest that the satellite rights for the Telugu version have gone to the Zee network. While official confirmation is still pending, trade sources widely mention the same.

Selling these rights in advance reduces the financial risk for the producers. Whatever the box office result may be, the makers already have a safety cushion. If the theatrical performance turns out strong, it becomes an added advantage on top of the already secured revenue.

On the content side, the film is set in the early 1980s. This mix of mystery, horror and period atmosphere aims to create a unique experience for viewers. With this background and the strong pre release business strategy, Shambhala is shaping up as more than just another film. It looks like a planned commercial project with a clear approach toward revenue and distribution.

The only uncertainty is the theatrical response. Even with strong pre release deals, audience reaction plays the key role. If viewers connect with the supernatural theme and the suspense, the strategy will completely work in favor of the makers.
