RC Fans Are Frustrated With Peddi Makers but Missed The Logic

2026 is going to be a big year for Telugu cinema with multiple big league films arriving at the box office. The mania is going to start with the Sankranti season, which will have the likes of The Raja Saab, Chiranjeevi’s MSG, Anaganaga Oka Raju, Bhartha Mahasayulaku Wignyapthi and others releasing in theatres. 

Shortly, after the completion of this auspicious Sankranti season, we have a major release in the form of Peddi which marks the collaboration of Ram Charan and Buchi Babu and Nani’s The Paradise.

As Peddi is arriving in theatres on march 27, and the promotional campaign was briefly started with the release of the first song Chikiri Chikiri. 

But the point to be noted here is that Charan’s fans have been disappointed with the fact that the team did not release any material on the occasion of New Year yesterday. They are disappointed with the fact that many other films including Paradise team released promotional material on the occasion of New Year while Peddi remained silent. 

However, there is a point behind the silence from the makers of this Charan film as we have megastar Chiranjeevi arriving with MSG under Anil Ravipudi’s direction. It might be a mutual sign of respect from the makers of Charan film to hold off the promotions till the release of Chiru’s film. 

Moreover, the Chikiri song is doing the job already as it is trending on music platforms, meaning there’s no rush to drop immediate material. On top of that, there is still over two months left for the release of this rustic action film, so there is enough time to come up with a consolidated promotional campaign, even after the Sankranti season.
