After a quiet year with a solo release in Telugu through Naga Chaitanya’s blockbuster hit Thandel, gifted South actress Sai Pallavi is looking forward for an ambitious 2026 as she steps into Bollywood with not just one film but two big-ticket movies which are slated for release in a span of few months.
Though Ranbir Kapoor’s mythological spectacle ‘Ramayana’ has been the talk of the town because she portrays the iconic role of Sita Devi, Sai Pallavi will test the Bollywood waters with another project which marks her Hindi debut. She is set to be introduced to the Hindi audience with Mere Raho, co-starring Junaid Khan.
Mere Raho is originally scheduled for release on April 24 as a Summer treat. But, speculation is rife in Bollywood circles that Mere Raho will be pushed to July 2026. Though there is no official word on this rumour, it is believed that the makers of Mere Raho want to avoid clash with Salman Khan’s big-ticket film Battle of Galwan which will hit the screens on April 17.
Moreover, the remaining slots in April and May are already occupied by several other notable releases, leaving the team of Mere Raho will little opportunity for Summer release. So, the production house is reportedly considering July window for a solo release.
Coming from the stables of Aamir Khan’s Production, Mere Raho is touted to be a remake of the Korean film One Day (2011). The love story promises to be a visual treat as it was shot during the beautiful Snow Festival in the town of Sapporo, Japan.
The outcome of this film will be very crucial for Sai Pallavi’s Bollywood stint as she will be the cynosure of the media and audience all over the country when Ramayana hits the screens. The critical impression she creates with Mere Raho will have a noticeable impact on how North moviegoers see her ahead of Ramayana.
