The buzz around Megastar Chiranjeevi’s upcoming Sankranti release Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu has intensified following the release of its theatrical trailer. Directed by Anil Ravipudi, the film promises a mix of humour, emotion, and mass appeal, and the trailer has grabbed attention online.
Within hours, the trailer hit the No.1 trending spot on YouTube, crossing over 22 million views. Social media is flooded with reactions praising Chiranjeevi’s cheerful, easygoing screen presence and his return to a comic-driven role. Fans have also appreciated the chemistry between Chiranjeevi and Nayanthara, as well as Victory Venkatesh’s special appearance.
However, while the trailer looks promising, some viewers have pointed out that it follows familiar formulas and offers little that feels completely new. The film’s ultimate reception will depend on whether the final product balances comedy, emotions, and mass elements effectively without relying too heavily on nostalgia.
With its theatrical release set for January 12th, expectations are high. If the trailer buzz translates into audience excitement, Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu could be one of the festive season’s biggest entertainers—but only time will tell if it lives up to the hype.
