Om Shanti Shanti Shantihi is an upcoming flick featuring Tharun Bhascker and Eesha Rebba playing the lead pair. Directed by AR Sajeev, the film’s trailer received tremendous response. Meanwhile, the film’s pre-release event was celebrated grandly, with ENE Repeat boys attending it.
Vishwak Sen who is not coming out much of late also graced the occasion. “I’ve been underground for a year, detoxing from public appearances and staying out of the spotlight. I only came here because it’s like a family function. I started working on Falaknuma Das. After many attempts, Tharun agreed to do a role in the movie. But, now, he became a busy actor. I was actually waiting for him to start ENE. Tharun stood by me during the toughest situation in my life, even though we barely knew each other then. He’s like a blood brother to me. This feels like a home function. This is Eesha’s movie. ENE shoot started a month ago. Srujan is the producer.”
Tharun Bhascker stated that it was initially tough for him to catch the slang of Godavari. He gave the credit to his director AR Sajeev. “Just one perfect Telugu song tells you how fresh this movie is. Brahmaji and all other actors have done a great job. I must thank my ENE boys for coming here and I’m truly enjoying working with them.
Srujan was my school junior. Managing a job, family, and producing in unstable OTT times is impressive. In today’s scenario, the producer is the real hero. Eesha embodies Shanti. She is the real hero of the film. Whatever her journey, she prefers silence. Real fighters stay silent. This movie is for all the ladies with fighting spirit.”
Eesha Rebba appreciated producer Srujan for making great content-driven cinema. “Casting me was a risky choice. In fact, most of filmmakers choose actors with proven track records in commercial hits. Sajeev is incredibly dedicated. Thanks to Sajeev and Nandu, this film feels so authentic. We call Sajeev ‘Meta Maestro.’ The music has turned out fantastic. I wanted to work under Tharun’s direction, but ended up acting alongside him. This is a story every couple can relate to. I hope, the movie entertains all.”
The movie is set for release on January 30th.
