Reporter’s Cheap Question, Yet The Director Stays Cool

Sometimes, media personnel go overboard and pose pathetic questions to celebrities during press interactions to put them in embarrassing situations. While some celebs reply in the same vein, a few will maintain their composure not to create any controversy out of it and put a permanent end to the issue.

Kollywood filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj landed in a similar situation when he held a Q and A session on Monday to set the record straight on several ongoing speculations relating to his upcoming projects. During his brief interaction, Lokesh cleared the air on so many rumours that have been making rounds since many months.

Unfortunately, a cheap question by a Tamil film journalist aimed at Lokesh’s personal life has drawn the attention of everyone and triggered a huge backlash from all quarters. Despite the reporter’s loose tongue, Lokesh remained cool and simply ignored to react any further.

During the interaction, one journalist had asked about his personal life, relationships and the ongoing rumours about his closeness with an actress. “Are you starting a family?” the reporter further asked, to which Lokesh replied with a smile, “There were many rumours. None of them are true. I already have a family.”

Not leaving it here, the reporter went on to publicly shout that it could be a “second family”. However, the filmmaker did not respond to the question.

While the dignified response from the Coolie director is being widely appreciated, the cheap tactics displayed by the reporter to create some sensational news with his over the top questions came under fire from moviegoers. As the clip went viral, many have slammed the reporter for crossing the line to grab the headlines.

Lokesh Kanagaraj is now gearing up to kick start the pre production activities of his much anticipated biggie with Allu Arjun. He also cleared the uncertainty over his future projects as well.
