Prabhas Fans Worried About Star’s Latest Commitment?

When big-ticket films fail to match the high expectations, they usually end up as box office failures. But, when fans are also utterly disappointed with the output in every segment, it results in severe backlash and even translates into a hate campaign against those involved in the making of the film. The most recent example for this scenario is The Raja Saab, headlined by pan-India superstar Prabhas. 

The Raja Saab, directed by Maruthi, is a classic example on how audiences and fans react when they are taken for granted. The film failed in all departments of the craft and ended as a colossal misfire. All artists and technicians and the production house faced acute criticism from moviegoers. Prabhas fans came down heavily on the director and the producer for the excruciating experience.  

When fans are trying to come out of this massive shock, the latest reports suggest that Prabhas has promised to do another film for producer Vishwa Prasad of People Media Factory as compensation for the losses incurred with The Raja Saab, which was made on a staggering budget.

While there is no final confirmation on whether it is a fresh film commitment or some form of distribution rights arrangement, reports currently suggest that it is indeed a new film commitment.

The very news that Prabhas will reunite with PMF has started giving jitters to his fans because The Raja Saab has disappointed everyone not only from director’s perspective but also turned out be a forgettable outing for the actor himself in all aspects from on-screen looks to dialogues to mannerisms and what not everything else. 

Moreover, critics and moviegoers have lashed out at the production house for not taking proper care with regard to the visuals and other technicalities of the film as the overall film appeared to be a farce rather than a serious collaboration. 

While the news about Prabhas agreeing to do another film for PMF is surely a big opportunity for the producer to make amends. But, he should be more cautious this time not to flounder the chance and make the most out of it. 

Prabhas is currently occupied with numerous upcoming marquee films like Fauzi, Spirit and Kalki 2. So, it is unclear when he will do another film for PMF.
