‘Padhe Padhe’: Romantic Interlude from ‘Rākāsā’

With the release of “Padhe Padhe,” Rākāsā introduces its second single, presenting listeners with a soft romantic melody that adds a calmer emotional shade to the film’s soundtrack. Written and directed by Manasa Sharma, the film is produced by Niharika Konidela under Pink Elephant Pictures and presented by Zee Studios.

The track unfolds through a restrained musical approach that places mood and melody at the centre. Lyricist Kittu Vissapragada writes about the early stirrings of affection, capturing emotions that surface through small moments and quiet expressions. Composer Anudeep Dev shapes the song with a smooth contemporary rhythm while incorporating the gentle presence of the veena, giving the arrangement a refined tonal character. Singer Sindhuja Srinivasan complements this mood with a warm and expressive vocal performance that allows the melody’s romantic feeling to emerge naturally.

The arrival of “Padhe Padhe” follows the encouraging reception received by the film’s earlier promotional material. The title glimpse has crossed 1.9 million views, while the teaser generated notable engagement online, surpassing 2.8 million views. The first single “Rapappa” also drew a strong response, crossing 1.1 million views on YouTube and establishing the film’s musical momentum.

International release plans for the film are also being finalized. Atharvana Bhadrakali Pictures will manage the overseas rollout across more than 350 theatres in territories including the USA, the United Kingdom, Europe, Canada and Australia. Distribution across North America will be handled by Prathyangira Cinemas, while the soundtrack is being released under the Saregama label.

Rākāsā features Sangeeth Sobhan and Nayan Sarika in the lead roles, supported by Vennela Kishore, Brahmaji, Tanikella Bharani, Ashish Vidyarthi and Getup Srinu. As the soundtrack continues to expand and promotional material gains visibility online, the film moves closer to its worldwide theatrical release on April 3, 2026
