Director Prashanth Neel is leaving no stone unturned to make Dragon, starring Jr NTR, a massive pan-India spectacle, especially in the Hindi market. The film is already carrying huge expectations, and the latest developments suggest that Neel is planning something big to elevate its reach further.
It was widely reported that Anil Kapoor is playing a crucial role in the film, adding significant weight to its Bollywood appeal. Now, fresh buzz indicates that Neel is in talks with a well-known Hindi actor, famous for his aggressive and intense roles, to play the main antagonist.
Interestingly, this role was initially supposed to be portrayed by Tovino Thomas but he backed out stating that the film is taking too much time. However, if the ongoing discussions materialize, the inclusion of one more prominent Bollywood face could take the film’s reach to the next level.
With such casting choices, Dragon is already building strong anticipation across markets, even without aggressive promotions.
Neel seems to be strategically designing the film to connect with a wider audience, particularly in the North. If everything falls into place, Dragon could emerge as one of the most awaited pan-India films in the coming years.
