Allu Cinemas recently became the third location in India to have Dolby Cinema. Hyderabad is set to get another such screen this year.
Mythri recently acquired a stake in Ranga Theater in Jeedimetla and is renovating it. They plan to install a Dolby Cinema in the property.
It will be a 635-seater audi and will cost around 13-14 Crore which is double what Mythri invested in their Vimal theater, Balanagar. Vimal is currently the best single-screen theater in Hyderabad.
The screen size will be smaller than Allu Cinemas’ but still very large for a single-screen theater. The specifications will be released soon. It will be world’s first single-screen Dolby Cinema.
They plan to include the best interiors, seating, parking facilities, and F&B counters on the ground and first floors.
The theater will serve the cinephiles of Jeedimetla, Kukatpally, Suraram, Kompally, and Balanagar areas. The theater is expected to be ready by the end of this year.
Mythri is also renovating Ganga theater in Dilsukhnagar; it will resemble their Vimal theater in Balanagar.
