Will Jana Nayagan Strike Gold at the Right Time?

Tamil Nadu completed the general elections yesterday, with a huge voter turnout across all constituencies. Interestingly, the Vijay factor seems to have worked well in drawing huge crowds.

Political analysts also expect the results to be interesting. With ten days left for the results, people are in the mood for big entertainment, and the release of Jana Nayagan alone could capitalize on that.

Thalapathy Vijay’s Jana Nayagan, which was promoted as his last film at the ticket windows, is due for its release. Amidst multiple postponements due to censor issues, the film was also leaked on social media.

The team sorted all the issues and is waiting for the censor board clearance for the release. As of now, there is a good chance for the film to draw the attention of the audience.

If the movie gets released before the poll results come out, it will help the producers gain the major investment in the movie. There wont be unnecessary criticism towards Vijay or the film. But, if Vijay loses big in the polls and then if the film comes out after poll results, it will leave a negative impact.

Mamitha Baiju and Pooja Hegde are also a part of the film, directed by H Vinoth.
