Suriya’s upcoming film Karuppu ( Veera Bhadurudu in telugu ) is once again making headlines, but not entirely for the right reasons. Until recently, the promotional material clearly mentioned a May 14 release date.
However, the latest updates have dropped the exact date and are now only indicating a May release, which has left fans worried.
This sudden change has created confusion, especially after a series of delays already affected the film’s schedule. While the team is holding a pre-release event today, which should ideally build excitement, the uncertainty around the release date is dampening the mood.
Fans, who were hoping for a smooth rollout this time, feel that the makers are once again sending mixed signals. In today’s competitive market, clarity in promotions plays a key role in sustaining buzz, and such last-minute changes can impact expectations.
On the other hand, Suriya’s Telugu project Viswanath & Sons is reportedly aiming for a July release. With multiple projects lined up, it becomes even more important for Karuppu to stick to a clear plan. For now, all eyes are on the makers to provide an official confirmation and avoid further delays.
