Tara Sutaria has done several films like Student of the Year 2, Marjaavaan, and Tadap but none of them gave her the big hit she was waiting for. The films either flopped or did not create the noise that would make her a top league actress.
But what films could not give her, Cannes 2026 did. She was recognised at the prestigious Women in Cinema Gala hosted by the Red Sea International Film Foundation. The gala honoured six exceptional women from across Asia, Africa, and the Arab world and Tara was picked for her versatile background in music, theatre, and film.
On the fashion front she wore a custom ivory satin gown by Vivienne Westwood paired with emerald and diamond jewellery by Messika and looked stunning.
On the work front she will be seen next in Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups.
