NTR and Prashanth Neel are working on the film Dragon, and a glimpse of the film has surfaced on social media. The makers introduced the film’s world through a glimpse and also revealed the key cast. One character who turned everyone’s attention is Boby Sarkar. Bollywood actor Sidhant is playing the role.
The word in the tinsel town is that Sidhant replaced Tovino Thomas, who was earlier a part of the film. Reportedly, Luger, played by NTR, and Boby Sakar are siblings in the film. So, Sidhant will be seen as the on-screen brother of NTR in the movie. Tovino was zeroed in earlier, but he had opted out due to the date clashes.
Tovino Thomas is a noted face in South cinema, where everyone easily relates to him. Moreover, the film would have been a great launchpad for him in Telugu to elevate his status further.
However, Sidhant’s inclusion is a big surprise that Neel picked an actor from Hindi. He usually picks actors from the South, but this time, he went to get the talented actor on board.
However, there is still no confirmation whether Sidhant really replaced Tovino or if it is a different character. Sidhant is undoubtedly a skilled actor. He garnered attention with the film Jubilee and then went on to impress with projects like Freedom at Midnight, Black Warrant, Operation Romeo, and Inside Edge.
Many actors from Hindi have tested their luck and gone on to make successful careers in the South. We have to see now if Sidhant also joins the list.
