MJ’s Darkest Chapter Returns With Explosive Docu-Series

Michael Jackson is back in the news as his biographical film was released recently and impressed many. Now, Netflix is planning to release a three-part docu-series around his life, with the title – Michael Jackson: The Verdict, which revolves around the charges of child molestation against him filed in 2003. The trailer for the same is out now on social media.

Back in 2003, Michael Jackson was charged with multiple counts of child molestation, setting off a media firestorm. However, he was later acquitted on charges of child molestation.

Now, the trailer that was released showcases archival footage and interviews with key players in the trial, including jurors, figures from both the defense and the prosecution, journalists inside the courtroom, and other eyewitnesses who saw the events unfold firsthand.

“Anyone interested in the Michael Jackson story should feel this documentary gives them a window into what was largely a closed event and a chance to feel closer to what happened,” say the filmmakers.

Produced by Candle True Stories and directed by Nick Green, “Michael Jackson: The Verdict” is releasing on June 3rd on Netflix.
