Ram Charan’s Peddi disappointed a section of the audience for the heroine’s role portrayal. However, the team quickly acknowledged the criticism and decided to remove the objectionable scenes and instead add new content. As per the brewing buzz in the film circles, the team wants to include some chopped scenes, but the sooner they do it, the better it is.
Usually, when a film gets divided talk and receives criticism on particular aspects, the makers must fix it before the film’s craze dies down. Especially, when it is about a biggie, the immediate action-taking steps will hold the curiosity of audiences towards the film.
Reportedly Shivanna’s Gouraidu flashback, Peddi attending Pelli Choopulu twice, the bond of Peddi and Appalasuri, and some village drama scenes have been chopped off from the final cut.
The team might have to redo things and go for the censor board approval. Its been few days since the film was released and from next Monday, the schools will get reopened and the attention of families will drift away from the film. The team is yet to include new scenes and the delay in doing that will surely show an impact in revenues.
With the kind of content that is going to be included has come out already, the audiences are eagerly waiting to witness on the big screen. The film is heading 300 Cr rupees at the global box office and the plan is to achieve 500 Cr gross and the newly added content can help the film achieve the magic figure.
