There is no denying the fact that Akhil is a very talented actor, but success has been eluding him for a very long time. It has been three long years since his last film, Agent, hit the screens and ended up as a disaster.
So, Akhil has changed his route and is trying an out-and-out mass entertainer, Lenin, which hits the screens on July 10, 2026. So far, the content that has been released has received a decent response. All those who watched the film are quite positive and feel that Akhil will make a roaring comeback.
But the bookings tell a different story altogether. They are not that great when compared to the buzz created. All this boils down to only one thing, and that is word of mouth. If Lenin starts with positive word of mouth, things can change drastically.
There are no other big films releasing alongside Lenin, and the previous releases, Naga Bandham and Rao Bahadur, have slowed down considerably, giving an edge to Lenin. If the film gets a hit talk, it will surely enjoy a long run at the box office.
The film stars Bhagyashri Borse and Sivaji in key roles, and Murali Kishor Abburu is the director. Nagarjuna has locked the edit, and Naga Vamsi, the co-producer, has done his bit to keep the film in the news. So now, with just a few hours to go before the release, one needs to see whether Lenin starts off with positive word of mouth.
