Ranbir Kapoor has reportedly decided to opt out of Dhoom 4 after being dissatisfied with the film’s revised script. The project was initially expected to be directed by Ayan Mukerji.
However, following the underperformance of War 2, the makers are said to have reworked the screenplay. Despite the changes, reports claim that Ranbir Kapoor was not convinced by the new version of the script and chose to step away from the project.
His decision has come as a surprise to Yash Raj Films, as he was considered a key part of the film’s plans and was supposed to play the main villain.
With Kapoor no longer attached, the production house is now reportedly exploring other casting options to move the project forward.
No official announcement has been made by either Ranbir Kapoor or Yash Raj Films regarding these reports, and details about the film’s future remain unconfirmed.
Fans are now waiting to see who will be approached to lead the project and whether the film will proceed with a new cast.
