Popular Telugu character artist Pavala Shyamala passed away in Hyderabad. She was 75 years old. She died at Osmania General Hospital due to a heart attack early on July 28, 2026. She had been suffering with several health ailments for some time now.
She started her career in stage plays and gained her famous screen name from a play called ‘Pavala’. She made her movie debut in 1985 with the film Babai Abbai. Over three decades, she acted in hundreds of movies as a comedian and supporting actress.
Her popular movies include Khadgam, Andhrawala, Varsham, and Golimaar. She worked with major stars like Chiranjeevi, Prabhas, Jr NTR, and Allu Arjun. She earned wide popularity for her natural acting and unique timing.
In her later years, she faced severe health issues and financial struggles. She suffered from Parkinson’s disease, high blood pressure, and heart ailments. Her daughter Madhavi was also ill, which made their living conditions very difficult.
Several film industry members and fans helped her financially over the years. However, her health continued to worsen until her passing. Many actors, directors, and fans expressed deep grief over her death.
After enduring years of physical and mental struggles, the veteran actress has finally found peace.
