Jana Nayagan To Beat Suriya’s Karuppu?

Thalapathy Vijay’s Jana Nayagan’s delayed release put the film in a lot of doubt, especially with the trade. The film opened to a disaster response, and more specifically, a negative response in Telugu. But, the Tamil audiences and the fans of Vijay embraced the movie whole heartedly.

The film has performed extremely well in Tamil and it opened to a massive revenue in the first weekend. Later, everyone thought that the film will slow down but it is now emerging into a silent killer at the box office.

As of today, despite all the negative factors, the film crossed 300 Cr rupees and is doing well at the Tamilnadu box office. If the trade reports are believed to be true, the film is all set to cross the collections of Suriya’s Karuppu.

Karuppu is one of the big hits in Tamil cinema in the recent times. The movie reportedly made a revenue of over 320 Cr rupees and if Jana Nayagan continues its run for another week, it will have high chances to cross Karuppu.

When Vijay quit acting and when Jana Nayagan was leaked online and got a much delayed release, everyone thought that the actor’s strength at the box office will come down but here is an example that proves that Jana Nayagan is performing very well at the box office, despite all the shortcomings.

Interestingly, Suriya will come with Viswanath and Sons on 14th of this month which can again beat Vijay’s movie.
