After delivering back-to-back blockbusters Veerabhadrudu and Vishwanath & Sons, Suriya is coming up with an action- #Suriya47, being helmed by Jithu Madhavan, who shot to fame with Aavesham. Nazriya Nazim is the lead actress in the movie produced by Jyothika and Suriya under Zhagaram Studios and 2D Entertainment banners.
The film’s title is revealed as Scene through a title teaser. The video takes an unconventional route to introduce Suriya’s character. Rather than immediately showcasing him as a stereotypical police officer, it first builds curiosity around his unusual personality. A voiceover describes him as a strange cop and even calls him a psycho.
Suriya enters the scene as DSP Premraj, and the entire mood instantly shifts. Walking beside a constable in a central jail, his hand resting on the latter’s shoulder, he gives a stern warning to 900+ criminals arrested by him recalling how tough cop he is.
Suriya delivers a power-packed performance. The attitude in his body language and the force behind his dialogue delivery give Premraj a distinctive mass identity. It is a character introduction designed to make an immediate impact. Jithu Madhavan presented Suriya’s character in a never-seen before manner, and the title teaser is truly whistle-worthy.
Technically, the teaser gets strong support from Vineeth Agustine’s rich frames and Sushin Shyam’s pulsating background score. The video has certainly added a great spark to the project.
