In his over 2 decade-long career, director Sekhar Kammula has introduced several young stars and also worked with medium range heroes. However, Sekhar has not worked with a top league star till date due to reasons unknown.
But, it looks like the acclaimed filmmaker is finally gearing up to direct a star hero. According to the latest buzz in the T-town circles, Sekhar may be working with Victory Venkatesh in his next project after wrapping up Love Story.
Apparently, Sekhar recently met Venky and narrated a storyline to him. Impressed with what he heard, Venky is said to have given his green signal to Sekhar and asked him to come up with a full-fledged script. The director will be working on the bound script as soon as he gets free after Love Story’s release.
On the other hand, Venky has Narappa releasing on May 14th, while he is already shooting for Drushyam’s sequel. If the project materializes, an official announcement and more details about the Venky-Sekhar Kammula film are expected to be out in the second half of this year.
